The INOPC, or Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center, is a hub of competence comprising 1500 proficient engineers. Their expertise lies in various areas such as tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, functional system testing, installation supervision, and commissioning. In recent times, this center has grown into the largest engineering hub, marking a significant transformation over the past decade. The Power Grids business Power Up transformation program identifies the India Operations Centre as a crucial component. Based in Chennai, the INOPC team provides support to Hitachi Energy’s units located in over 40 countries, catering to a diverse portfolio of all four business units in the Power Grid business. Their accomplishments include the successful execution of engineering and commissioning projects in more than 80 countries to date.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Maintain software quality by adhering to established testing standards and procedures.
2. Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
3. Implement, execute, support, and deliver accurate test results in a timely manner.
4. Analyse test results and report them to the development team to ensure defects are identified and resolved.
5. Work with Zuken applications like E3 and DSE3, ensuring their quality throughout the SDLC.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is maintained throughout the software development lifecycle.
7. Conduct root cause analysis of issues to identify and resolve underlying problems.
8. Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure efficient testing and accurate results.
9. Work on Azure DevOps test plan to manage test cases and results effectively.
10. Work in an Agile & Scrum team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.

Your Background:

1. Possess a Bachelor of Engineering or Diploma in Engineering.
2. Have 3 to 5 years of experience in software testing.
3. Have knowledge of desktop application automation.
4. Possess fair knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, WinAppDriver, Winium, and Appium.
5. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Have strong problem-solving skills.
7. Have experience with Agile & Scrum methodologies and Agile software like Azure DevOps and Jira.
8. Possess solid knowledge of C-Sharp, .NET is a plus.
9. Have an understanding of the Safe Agile framework.
10. Possess extensive knowledge of the latest technologies.
11. Have exposure to various in-house certification programs.
