We are currently seeking experienced professionals in Web Automation Testing – Selenium in the following areas:

Job Description:

• Maintain Smoke and Regression Test Suite.
• Identify defects and log them in the Test Management tool.
• Develop and maintain Automation Scripts following Coding Standards.
• Supervise and review test scripts created by Test Engineers.
• Author test cases and prepare required test data according to standards.
• Identify critical P1 Functional/Integration defects in QA/Staging environments.
• Determine Tool feasibility for in-scope and out-of-scope functionality with guidance from the Lead.

Required Technical Competencies:

1. Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

• Understand requirement gathering and analysis concepts and terminology.
• Independently identify, describe, and document requirements.
• Experience in creating and reviewing requirements.
• Conduct basic analysis of requirements, including identifying gaps and inconsistencies.

2. Testing Design:

• Knowledge of test design techniques, frameworks, and approaches.
• Design test cases based on requirements and specifications.
• Create test plans and strategies, manage risks in the testing process, and perform exploratory testing.

3. Test Planning:

• Comprehensive understanding of test planning concepts.
• Create detailed test plans.
• Design and execute complex test cases based on various scenarios and variables.
• Prioritize and report defects based on severity and impact.

4. Estimation and Resource Planning:

• Basic understanding of estimation and resource planning techniques.
• Identify required resources and utilize suitable estimation models.
• Apply estimation models for low-medium complexity scenarios based on project scope.

5. Technology/Product Knowledge:

• Solid understanding of testing processes and techniques.
• Good understanding of the technology and products being tested.
• Independently execute tests and analyze results.

6. Test Development:

• Good understanding of test development principles and concepts.
• Perform various item-writing tasks with minimal supervision.
• May require guidance for developing more complex test forms.

7. Customer Management:

• Working knowledge of the customer’s business domain and technology suite.
• Utilize the latest technology and proactively suggest solutions to increase business value.
• Understand customer’s business and deliver accordingly.

8. Knowledge Management:

• Working knowledge of Knowledge Management principles and practices.
• Apply principles and practices in practical situations and use tools and techniques effectively.
• Write technical and user understanding documents.

9. Domain/Industry Knowledge:

• Basic knowledge of customer’s business processes and relevant technology platforms or products.
• Prepare process maps, workflows, business cases, test cases, and test data for simple to medium requirements with assistance.

10. Test Execution:

• Intermediate understanding of test execution concepts and practices.
• Work independently, identify and prioritize test cases, execute complex test scenarios, perform regression testing, and provide clear and concise defect reports.
• May occasionally need guidance for complex tasks.

11. Test Automation Technology/Product Knowledge:

• Working knowledge of Automation tools.
• Independently create and execute medium to complex automation scripts for functional testing.
• Develop automation frameworks with guidance.
