Role Summary
At Accenture, the Application Support Engineer acts as a “software detective,” identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues across critical business systems.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot problems, enhance application performance, and ensure high-quality service delivery. This role requires strong automation testing knowledge and the ability to independently manage technical challenges.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Act independently and progressively become a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Actively participate in team discussions and solution design.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve issues across multiple system components.
- Assist in designing and implementing test strategies to ensure software quality.
- Document defects, findings, and technical solutions clearly for stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and support frameworks.
Professional & Technical Skills
Must Have:
- Proficiency in Automated Testing.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and methodologies.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools.
Good to Have:
- Experience with test automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with scripting languages for automation.
Additional Information
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Automated Testing required.
- Position based in Mumbai office.
