Job Summary:

The Device Associate will execute test case instructions and report discrepancies to ensure the high quality of Amazon devices. This role requires a detail-oriented and disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance.

Responsibilities:

• Execute detailed test cases and analyze all available information to report bugs and discrepancies accurately.
• Perform regression and repetitive testing exercises to qualify builds and ensure no compromise on quality.
• Adhere to testing procedures and guidelines for new builds/releases.
• Capture results daily using software tools and effectively communicate and escalate failures.
• Provide individual status reports and maintain a proactive stance in all communications.
• Raise issues related to the execution of test cases in the clarification portal and resolve them as per SLAs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).

Required Skills:

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills for reporting needs and escalations.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with automated testing tools.
• Understanding of the latest testing trends and tools.
