Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive QE test plans, strategies, and test cases for applications and features.
- Collaborate closely with Development, BPR, and cross-functional teams to execute test plans and ensure high-quality product delivery.
- Perform automation, performance, and code quality testing using tools such as Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber-JVM, REST API, Appium, Postman, SOAPUI, JMeter, Jenkins, and SonarQube.
- Utilize GenAI models to support coding and related engineering tasks.
- Conduct functional, system, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Track and communicate testing progress and status updates to project managers throughout all testing phases.
- Work in Agile environments, handling multiple tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
- Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills in ambiguous situations.
- Maintain excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or Quality Engineer.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Hands-on exposure to automation frameworks, performance testing tools, and CI/CD integrations.
- Experience creating test strategies and cases for Web (UI), Mobile apps, APIs/Web Services, and Database workflows.
- Familiarity with GenAI solutions and AI models.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in functional, system, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Strong understanding of QE processes, tools, and metrics.
- Knowledge of automation framework architecture, design, and development.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with frequent context switching.
