🌟 About the Role
Ericsson is looking for a Senior Test Engineer to manage and validate API integrations for the Ericsson Wallet Platform (EWP).
This role involves executing end-to-end testing of high-volume financial and non-financial transaction systems across AWS and Kubernetes environments, ensuring security, compliance, and seamless sync/async API processing.
🎯 What You Will Do
🔹 API Testing & Validation
- Design and execute API functional tests using JMeter / Bruno
- Validate REST and XML-over-HTTP endpoints
- Test complex fintech workflows (sync & async flows)
- Analyze API response times and dashboards
🔹 Automation & Scripting
- Develop automation scripts using Python (requests)
- Use JavaScript (axios) for API flows
- Apply Groovy scripting for JMeter automation
- Utilize Amazon Q Developer for test generation and optimization
🔹 Cloud & Deployment
- Deploy/upgrade services on AWS EKS
- Perform Helm upgrades and kubectl debugging
- Manage GitOps pipelines (ArgoCD / Flux)
- Ensure zero-downtime deployment strategies
🔹 Troubleshooting & Delivery
- Diagnose Kubernetes pod/service issues
- Perform Helm rollback when needed
- Maintain regression test suites
- Validate TR fixes and contract-based integration strategies
