EY Consulting is hiring a Senior Business Tester in the Insurance Functional Testing practice. This role requires strong experience in Guidewire (Policy, Claims, Billing) and deep knowledge of the P&C Insurance domain. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end functional and UAT testing within Agile environments.
🎯 Your Key Responsibilities
🔹 Test Strategy & Planning
- Prepare Test Strategy, Test Plan, Scenarios, and Test Scripts
- Understand Functional Specifications and Style Guides
- Participate in review and walkthrough meetings
🔹 Test Execution & Defect Management
- Execute Functional, Regression, Sanity, Smoke, System & UAT testing
- Log and track defects through STLC lifecycle
- Maintain bug reports and delivery documentation
- Attend status calls and report progress
🔹 Domain & Technical Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- Guidewire PolicyCenter (including Rating)
- ClaimCenter
- BillingCenter
- GW Portal Products
- Strong knowledge of P&C Insurance domain (multiple LOBs)
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Experience working in Agile Scrum methodology
🔹 Stakeholder Collaboration
- Manage stakeholder communication effectively
- Participate in peer reviews
- Work as both Individual Contributor and Lead when required
🧠 Skills Required
- 6–8 years of UAT / Business Testing experience in Insurance domain
