Hyland Software, a leader in software solutions, is seeking a Test Engineer 2 for their Kolkata location. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software and products by developing and maintaining integration, functional, and non-functional

Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain integration, functional, and non-functional tests
• Contribute to automated test frameworks to ensure software quality
• Lead verification of system functionality through automated and manual tests
• Contribute to the implementation of delivery pipeline including test automation and security
• Perform manual testing, including test case and test plan creation
• Participate in planning, estimation, solution demos, and reviews
• Provide troubleshooting support for production issues
• Participate in formal reviews of software products, databases, and environments

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of software development lifecycle phases
• Familiarity with software application testing tools, methodologies, and process frameworks
• Experience with test automation (preferably with Selenium) and continuous integration tools
• Experience with test design, source control systems, and scripting tools
• Experience with build environments and delivery pipelines
• Experience with programming or scripting, database technology, and Agile frameworks
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Good organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
• Good collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects independently or in a team environment
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Driven to learn and stay current professionally
• Up to 10% travel time required

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in test automation on Windows/Linux platforms
