In this role, you will be part of an IBM Consulting Client Innovation Center (Delivery Center), delivering deep technical expertise and industry knowledge to public and private sector clients worldwide. These centers combine global best practices with local excellence to accelerate innovation and digital adoption.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Quality Engineer – Automation, you will design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and solutions for enterprise IT systems and applications. Your expertise in automation tools and technologies will help optimize testing processes and improve overall delivery efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Automation Solutions
Design and implement scalable automation frameworks to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery. - Build Optimized Test Scenarios
Create reusable and optimized automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and best practices. - Manage Test Data & Environments
Develop automation solutions for test data management and environment configuration to support seamless execution. - Integrate Testing Automation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation into Agile, DevOps, and container-based delivery pipelines. - Execute Automated Tests
Implement continuous test execution strategies to minimize manual effort and maximize coverage.
Required Technical & Professional Expertise
- Exposure to various test automation tools and frameworks
- Experience building automated testing solutions for IT systems and applications
- Understanding of delivery automation integration (Agile, DevOps, Containers)
- Experience with automation of test data and environment management
- Ability to design and optimize automated test scenarios
Preferred Technical & Professional Experience
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with containerization technologies
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD processes
