In this role, you will be part of an IBM Consulting Client Innovation Center (Delivery Center), providing technical expertise and innovative solutions to clients across public and private sectors worldwide.
Your Role & Responsibilities
As a Quality Engineer – Automation, you will design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and solutions to enhance software quality and accelerate delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Automation Solutions
Design and implement scalable automated testing frameworks to streamline validation processes. - Build Optimized Test Scenarios
Create efficient, reusable, and maintainable automated test cases using industry-standard automation tools. - Manage Test Data & Environments
Develop automation scripts to manage test data and configure environments for seamless execution. - Integrate Testing into Delivery Pipelines
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed automation into Agile, DevOps, and containerized workflows. - Automated Test Execution
Implement continuous testing solutions to reduce manual effort and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Required Technical & Professional Expertise
- Exposure to various test automation tools and frameworks
- Experience building automated testing solutions for IT systems and applications
- Understanding of delivery automation integration (Agile, DevOps, Containers)
- Experience in test data management automation
- Ability to design and optimize automated test scenarios
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with containerization technologies
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD integration
