Role Overview
Infosys Limited is seeking experienced Performance Testing Engineers with strong hands-on expertise in JMeter, LoadRunner, and NeoLoad. As part of the delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring effective design, development, validation, and support activities to deliver high-quality technology solutions and ensure client satisfaction.
In this role, you will contribute to end-to-end performance engineering activities, including requirement analysis, test strategy preparation, scripting, execution, monitoring, and detailed reporting. You will collaborate closely with developers, architects, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders to ensure applications meet defined performance benchmarks for scalability, reliability, and stability.
You will be expected to:
- Analyze non-functional requirements (NFRs) and translate them into performance test scenarios.
- Design and execute load, stress, endurance, spike, and volume testing for enterprise-grade applications.
- Identify performance bottlenecks at the application, database, and infrastructure levels.
- Provide performance tuning recommendations based on root cause analysis.
- Integrate performance testing within CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
- Ensure applications are production-ready by validating system behavior under peak loads.

Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze client requirements and translate them into detailed system specifications.
- Contribute to project estimations by providing accurate effort assessments to Technology Leads and Project Managers.
- Design and execute performance test strategies including load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.
- Identify system bottlenecks and recommend performance optimization solutions.
- Develop efficient and scalable systems aligned with client expectations.
- Provide validation and ongoing support to maintain high service standards.
Mandatory Skills
- 5–10 years of experience in Performance Testing
- Strong expertise in:
- JMeter
- LoadRunner
- NeoLoad
- Experience across the complete performance testing lifecycle
