Role Overview
As an Automation Engineer (SDET), you will collaborate closely with engineering and release teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. You will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing frameworks, validating builds, and integrating automated QA processes into CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with engineering teams to analyze features and create detailed test cases
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites
- Qualify builds and ensure release readiness
- Integrate automation into build, release, and distribution pipelines
- Improve quality, efficiency, and time-to-release processes
- Implement integration, performance, stress, and vulnerability testing within CI/CD workflows
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience collaborating with globally distributed teams
- Expertise in test case design and automation development
- Hands-on experience integrating QA automation into CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure
- Programming skills in Java and Groovy
- Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit and TestNG
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with artifact management tools such as JFrog Artifactory or Sonatype Nexus
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
