In this role, you will be part of an IBM Consulting Client Innovation Center (Delivery Center), delivering deep technical and industry expertise to clients across public and private sectors worldwide. These centers combine global standards with local excellence to accelerate innovation and adoption of emerging technologies.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Quality Engineer – SAP Automation, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of SAP-based applications and systems. You will focus on test scenario design, execution, and automation of functional testing to validate system requirements and improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Test Scenarios & Test Cases
Create detailed test scenarios and cases aligned with SAP business processes to validate system functionality and requirements. - Execute Test Cases
Perform structured test execution to ensure applications meet defined specifications, with a focus on automation-driven validation. - Automate Functional Testing
Design and implement automated testing solutions for SAP applications to enhance testing efficiency and coverage. - Analyze & Report Defects
Review test results, identify defects, document findings, and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution. - Ensure Cross-Module Quality
Support testing across integrated SAP modules to maintain overall system stability and performance.
Required Technical & Professional Expertise
- Strong exposure to SAP business processes and their implementation across services
- Experience in developing comprehensive test scenarios and test cases for SAP systems
- Hands-on exposure to designing and implementing automated testing solutions
- Experience in executing test cases and analyzing test outcomes
- Knowledge of functional testing automation for SAP applications
Preferred Technical & Professional Experience
- Exposure to multiple SAP modules and their integrations
- Experience with automated testing tools for SAP environments
- Understanding of cross-functional and end-to-end SAP testing
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies
