Role Overview
Madison Logic is seeking a QA Engineer to join its technology team in Pune. In this role, you will work closely with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
You will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, validating product functionality, supporting automation initiatives, and ensuring product quality across releases. The role requires strong collaboration within Agile development environments and the ability to translate complex technical requirements into effective testing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in the Agile software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to understand technical requirements and develop appropriate testing documentation.
- Design, implement, and manage test cases using TestRail.
- Perform manual testing and regression testing to validate product stability after fixes.
- Work with development and support teams to determine manual and automated testing needs.
- Assist in developing test strategies and testing documentation.
- Troubleshoot product quality issues and refine testing procedures.
- Ensure product releases meet quality standards before deployment.
- Respond to requests from management, development, and product teams related to testing activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in QA Engineering or related roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium (Java-based).
- Knowledge of JavaScript or other programming languages.
- Basic understanding of Node.js.
- Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber, Jasmine, or Mocha.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git or Bitbucket.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or TeamCity.
- Experience with API testing and database validation.
Preferred Technical Skills
- Experience with automation tools and frameworks including Cypress, Selenium, or BrowserStack.
- Hands-on experience with test management tools such as TestRail.
- Familiarity with database testing and backend validation.
- Scripting or automation experience using JavaScript or related technologies.
Soft Skills
