Role Overview
This is a junior consulting position designed for professionals who are continuing to develop their expertise in test automation and software quality engineering. You will receive general guidance on routine tasks and detailed instructions for new assignments while contributing to functional and technical solutions across Oracle technology implementations.
As part of a project team, you will analyze data, follow established methodologies, and help deliver quality solutions aligned with customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Test Automation & Execution
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and related tools.
- Understand and apply SDLC and STLC methodologies.
- Participate in different types of testing and manage defects throughout the bug life cycle.
Project Delivery Support
- Follow standard Oracle consulting practices to deliver quality work products.
- Assist in analyzing functional and technical requirements.
- Implement Oracle products and technologies based on customer needs.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with team members and clients to build rapport and ensure effective communication.
- Support troubleshooting and problem-solving activities with guidance from senior consultants.
- Travel as required for project assignments.
Required Qualifications
- 0–2+ years of relevant functional or technical experience.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Basic programming knowledge in Java, Python, SQL, or similar languages.
- Familiarity with Selenium Automation Tool (required skill).
- Understanding of version control systems (Git) and CI tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skillset
- Exposure to Eggplant or other automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of Oracle products and technology stack.
- Ability to demonstrate competence in at least one product or technology area.
- Experience working in consulting or client-facing environments.
