About the Team

The Integrations Team is responsible for building and maintaining marketplace connectivity solutions that enable seamless integration between internal systems and major eCommerce platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, and eBay.

The team develops APIs and services that manage inventory synchronization, order fulfillment, and data processing across multiple platforms. Their work focuses on scalable architecture, automated monitoring, error detection, and real-time data integration.


Role Overview

Pattern is looking for a QA Engineer to join its Scrum team and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. In this role, you will work closely with Product Management, Development, and Operations teams to implement effective testing strategies and maintain product quality across releases.

You will contribute to manual and automation testing, API validation, and defect management, while ensuring compliance with quality standards and testing methodologies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively as a core member of the Scrum team and contribute to Agile development processes.
  • Collaborate with Product Management during sprint planning and requirement discussions.
  • Design and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test documentation based on product requirements.
  • Perform functional testing, web-based testing, and API testing.
  • Identify, report, and track defects while participating in bug triaging activities.
  • Support automation testing initiatives, including creation and maintenance of test scripts.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives such as root cause analysis and unit testing integration.
  • Ensure product quality by validating releases against defined quality metrics and standards.

Required Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
  • Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience in functional and web-based testing.
  • Knowledge of test case creation, defect management, and test scenario identification.
  • Exposure to automation testing tools and API testing frameworks.
  • Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge for database validation.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and ceremonies.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with automation scripting using JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with BDD automation frameworks.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience working with PostgreSQL databases.
  • Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or CSQA.
