Job Summary
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that symplr software solutions meet high quality standards before release. The role involves collaborating with engineering, product, and QA teams to design and execute effective test strategies.
The candidate will work on test planning, automated testing strategies, regression testing, and defect analysis, ensuring that applications perform reliably across different environments.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Participate in Agile development activities including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to understand product features and requirements
- Work with QA leadership to implement and execute testing strategies
- Design, develop, and execute test cases for functional and non-functional requirements
- Conduct regression testing before product releases
- Analyze test results and report defects or issues to development teams
- Communicate risks, dependencies, and testing challenges during the development lifecycle
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Experience with cross-browser testing of web applications
- Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Postman, and ReadyAPI
- Experience testing web services such as REST and SOAP APIs
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or C#
- Experience using test management tools like Azure DevOps or Zephyr
- Ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative engineering teams
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in Quality Engineering or Software Testing
- Experience with automation testing frameworks and API testing tools
