Wipro, a global leader in information technology services, is currently hiring a Senior Test Engineer for a Performance Testing position in Bengaluru, India. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in performance testing and proficiency in tools such as JMeter. If you’re passionate about devising test strategies, analyzing performance data, and ensuring optimal performance, this could be the opportunity for you.

Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Performance Tester.

Responsibilities:

• Devise test strategy and create test plans.
• Assess Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) and provide effort estimates.
• Ensure usage of tools for optimization in performance testing.
• Design workload model and execute performance tests using JMeter.
• Analyze performance test results and identify performance bottlenecks.
• Report defects to the relevant team.
• Update project-related data in applicable systems.
• Provide timely reporting and response to stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience with JMeter performance test tools.
• Ability to work in Agile/waterfall models.
• Experience in creating test strategy, test plans, and NFR assessment.
• Proficiency in using APM tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
• Experience in creating required stubs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in working with other performance testing tools.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
