Role Purpose
The Test Engineer L3 is responsible for preparing detailed test cases and executing comprehensive testing for products, platforms, or solutions deployed at client locations. The role ensures 100% adherence to quality assurance standards with a strong focus on Salesforce Functional Testing and structured validation processes.
Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Requirement Analysis
- Understand business requirements and translate them into testable scenarios
- Prepare detailed test plans aligned with Salesforce implementations
- Implement Wipro’s Model-Based Testing approach for optimized test generation
- Define scope, parameters, entry/exit criteria, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Ensure peer review of test cases to minimize rework and defects leakage
Salesforce Functional Testing
- Perform end-to-end functional testing of Salesforce modules
- Validate workflows, custom objects, validation rules, reports, dashboards, and integrations
- Ensure data integrity and business rule compliance
- Coordinate with development teams to capture version changes and impact areas
Automation & Process Improvement
- Automate suitable stages of the test lifecycle using VB macros, GUI automation, and scheduling tools
- Support automation framework design and execution reporting
- Identify opportunities for automation within Salesforce testing processes
Defect Management & Reporting
- Log defects with clear replication steps and detailed descriptions
- Ensure defects follow project/account norms and SLA guidelines
- Track and report testing progress regularly to stakeholders
- Publish test dashboards at the end of each execution cycle
Customer Interaction & Governance
- Maintain high-quality communication with clients via email, reports, and calls
- Ensure on-time delivery of WSRs, test execution reports, and dashboard updates
- Update effort tracking systems (eCube, TMS, and related repositories) accurately
- Respond promptly to client queries and maintain strong CSAT performance

Required Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in software testing
- Strong hands-on experience in Salesforce Functional Testing
- Knowledge of Model-Based Testing concepts
- Experience in defect management tools and test management repositories
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in Agile or enterprise delivery environments
