Role Purpose
The Test Engineer L3 is responsible for preparing comprehensive test cases and executing manual and automated testing for enterprise products, platforms, or client solutions. The role ensures complete adherence to quality standards, SLA compliance, and continuous process improvement through automation practices.
Key Responsibilities
Requirement Analysis & Test Planning
- Understand business and system requirements to create effective test scenarios
- Author detailed test plans aligned with functional and non-functional requirements
- Implement Model-Based Testing for efficient test coverage
- Define scope, parameters, entry/exit criteria, and support UAT activities
- Ensure peer review of test cases to reduce rework and defect leakage
Test Automation & Execution
- Design and execute automation frameworks for web, API, or enterprise applications
- Automate test lifecycle stages using scripting, scheduling, and GUI automation tools
- Develop reusable automated test scripts and validation workflows
- Set up test environments and execute regression, integration, and functional tests
- Enhance automation coverage and optimize execution cycles
Defect Management & Reporting
- Log defects with detailed replication steps and impact analysis
- Track defect lifecycle and ensure resolution within SLA timelines
- Prepare and release test execution dashboards for stakeholders
- Ensure no rejection or slippage of deliverables
Governance & Customer Interaction
- Maintain high-quality communication with customers and stakeholders
- Deliver WSRs, test execution reports, and dashboards on time
- Update effort tracking in eCube, TMS, and related repositories
- Respond promptly to queries and maintain strong CSAT performance

- Strong analytical and communication skills
