Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified candidate to join the entertainment end-to-end system integration team within the Video organization of a major European Operator. The main focus of the role will be to automate the testing of video systems, including set-top boxes, IPTV, and OTT-based video distribution systems, as well as the associated back office. You will collaborate closely with video functional and performance testers, integrators, and architects, among others, to ensure seamless system integration.

As a Technology Analyst, you will play a primary role in developing applications. You will analyze requirements, define activities and modules, and lead the execution of development to ensure excellent results. Required

• We require an Automation Tester to be part of our complete testing team and ensure that they contribute to the testing coverage as determined by the test lead.
• The primary focus of the Automation Tester will be on writing business logic in JavaScript and providing well-structured documentation.
• The Automation Tester will focus on automated testing of new features, country-specific bugs, and regression testing.

Additional Responsibilities:

• In addition to the main responsibilities, the candidate should have knowledge of design principles and architecture fundamentals.
• The candidate should have a good understanding of performance engineering and quality processes, including estimation techniques.
• Basic understanding of the project domain is expected, and the candidate should have the ability to translate functional and non-functional requirements to systems requirements.
• The candidate should be skilled in designing and coding complex programs, as well as writing test cases and scenarios based on specifications.
• Good understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies is essential, and awareness of the latest technologies and trends is preferred.
• Logical thinking and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to collaborate, are also important attributes that the candidate should possess.

Preferred Skills:

• The ideal candidate should have skills in networking, as this will be a preferred attribute.
• Proficiency in Python is also a preferred skill.
• In addition, the candidate should have knowledge of the MongoDB database.
