Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Testing Engineer to support quality assurance efforts across web, mobile, and desktop platforms. The role involves manual testing, defect tracking, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications
- Log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing
- Validate UI/UX across browsers, devices, and operating systems
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and verify bug fixes
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
- Document test results and create detailed bug reports
- Contribute to QA process improvements and test coverage enhancement
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- 2–3 years of experience in Java development
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC
- Knowledge of testing types: functional, regression, smoke, sanity, UAT, exploratory
- Experience writing and executing manual test cases
- Basic SQL / NoSQL knowledge for data validation
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Trello, Bugzilla)
- Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, HTTP)
- API testing experience (Postman, REST Assured)
- Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter)
- Knowledge of mobile testing (iOS & Android)
