🎯 Role Summary
As part of the testing team, you will support overall QA capacity by performing both functional and automation testing. The role requires strong hands-on experience in test execution, automation scripting, and defect tracking to ensure high-quality software delivery.
This is a fully remote position offering flexibility and growth in automation testing technologies.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
✅ Functional Testing
- Perform end-to-end testing of software features against business requirements
- Validate application workflows and ensure defect-free releases
✅ Automation Testing
- Design, develop, and execute automated test cases
- Automate test scenarios for web and/or mobile applications
✅ Java Development
- Write and maintain automation scripts using Java
- Contribute to test framework development and enhancements
✅ UI Automation Tools
- Use Selenium for web UI automation
- Use Appium for mobile automation (Android/iOS)
✅ Issue Tracking & Reporting
- Log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues effectively
💡 Required Skills
- Strong experience in Functional Testing
- Hands-on experience in Automation Testing
- Solid coding knowledge in Java
- Experience with Selenium (Web Automation)
- Experience with Appium (Mobile Automation)
- Familiarity with defect management tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
