Role Summary
Infosys Limited is seeking a highly experienced Senior Test Engineer with strong expertise in telecom-grade products and large-scale distributed systems. The role involves driving end-to-end functional and non-functional testing strategies, ensuring high product quality, and minimizing fault escapes across releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive SBC / TAS functional and non-functional testing.
- Define and execute comprehensive test strategies for product releases.
- Ensure test effectiveness, continuous improvements, and accountability for defect leakage.
- Analyze new feature enhancements in SBC/TAS and evaluate test impact.
- Investigate critical customer issues, identify root causes, and prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate in cross-functional environments to improve product quality and service reliability.
Technical & Professional Requirements
- 7–9 years of relevant software testing experience in Telco-grade products.
- Strong system testing experience in functional and serviceability areas for:
- High-traffic, large-scale distributed systems
- Client-server architectures
- Hands-on experience in verifying:
- Bare Metal applications
- Cloud-native & Microservices architectures
- Strong knowledge of containerization and virtualization technologies:
- Docker
- Kubernetes (K8s)
- Consul
- Redis
- gRPC
- Helm
- Envoy
- Experience working with IMS, VoLTE, 4G/5G core technologies.
- Customer interfacing experience is an added advantage.
