Role Summary
Infosys Limited is hiring an experienced Test Lead Engineer to drive end-to-end functional and non-functional testing for telecom-grade SBC/TAS products. The role requires strong technical leadership, ownership of product quality, and the ability to lead large-scale distributed system testing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive SBC / TAS functional and non-functional testing.
- Take end-to-end ownership of SBC/TAS functional features and ensure high-quality delivery.
- Define and execute comprehensive test strategies for product releases.
- Ensure test effectiveness, continuous improvement, and accountability for defect leakage.
- Analyze new feature enhancements and evaluate detailed test requirements.
- Drive product architecture evolution and introduce necessary design/architecture optimizations.
- Investigate critical customer issues, identify root causes, and prevent recurrence through improved internal testing.
Technical & Professional Requirements
- 10–15 years of relevant software testing experience in Telco-grade products.
- Strong system testing expertise in:
- High-traffic, large-scale distributed systems
- Client-server architectures
- Hands-on experience validating:
- Bare Metal applications
- Cloud-native and Microservices-based architectures
- Strong knowledge of containerization and virtualization technologies:
- Docker
- Kubernetes (K8s)
- Consul
- Redis
- gRPC
- Helm
- Envoy
- Open-source integrations
- Solid experience in IMS, VoLTE, 4G/5G core technologies.
- Strong hands-on exposure to DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.
- Prior customer interfacing experience is an added advantage.
