Job Summary:

Medpace is rapidly growing and seeks a full-time, office-based Software QA Test Engineer (Validation Engineer) to join its Information Technology (IT) team in the Navi Mumbai office. The role involves working closely with developers and end users throughout the software life cycle to ensure applications meet user needs.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with developers and end users throughout the software life cycle.
• Perform testing using various methodologies, including manual, exploratory, and automated testing.
• Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and documentation for projects.
• Participate in peer reviews of test cases.
• Identify and report software defects and inconsistencies.
• Review, analyze, and supplement requirement specifications to ensure 100% test coverage.
• Facilitate the execution of acceptance test scripts by end users.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• 1+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in an agile-like environment.
• Experience in manual testing for complex software applications; experience in automated testing is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work within cross-departmental teams.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
• Experience in the regulated healthcare industry is a plus.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in manual testing methodologies.
• Ability to write and execute detailed test cases and test plans.
• Strong defect identification and reporting skills.
• Ability to ensure complete test coverage.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with the regulated healthcare industry and related compliance requirements.
