π― About the Role
As a Technical Support β Level 1 professional, you will support design, development, and implementation activities across custom projects and products. You will work closely with leads, testers, customers, project managers, and designers to ensure smooth service delivery.
The role primarily focuses on web hosting technical support, customer handling, and help desk management.
π Key Responsibilities
β Customer & Technical Support
- Provide inbound support via telephone and live chat
- Process and respond to help desk tickets
- Assist customers with hosting-related technical issues
β Web Hosting & Server Management
- Support hosting environments such as:
- cPanel / WHM
- CloudLinux
- Softaculous
- WHMCS
- Kayako Help Desk
- Troubleshoot CMS installations (WordPress, Drupal, Joomla)
- Diagnose HTTP errors, DNS configuration issues, FTP connections, email setup
- Handle PHP errors, MySQL configuration, cron jobs
β Sales & Order Processing
- Process sales orders efficiently
- Maintain professional customer communication
π‘ Technical & Functional Skills
- 2β3 years of experience in cPanel/WHM & Web Hosting Industry
- Understanding of Shared, Reseller, and VPS hosting
- Experience with open-source CMS platforms
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- Comfortable interacting with customers via phone, ticket, and chat
