🎯 Role Overview
As a Quality Assurance Associate, you will take end-to-end ownership of both manual (50%) and automated testing (50%) for the Aurora platform. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Software Engineers, Cloud Engineers, ML Engineers, and Geospatial Analysts to deliver seamless, high-quality product releases.
Your goal will be to ensure flawless user experience, accurate data workflows, and production stability across satellite imagery analytics systems.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
✅ Manual & Automated Testing
- Perform detailed manual and automation testing of new features and bug fixes
- Validate features in staging and production environments
✅ Test Planning & Execution
- Design comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies
- Cover functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
✅ Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Refine user stories and validate acceptance criteria
- Ensure UI matches 100% with Figma designs
✅ Automation Framework Development
- Build and maintain automation frameworks using tools like Selenium or Cypress
- Improve regression efficiency and CI/CD test integration
✅ API & Backend Validation
- Conduct API testing using Postman
- Validate backend logic using SQL (PostgreSQL) and scripting (Python/Java)
✅ Production Monitoring
- Monitor live environments post-release
- Collaborate with DevOps for troubleshooting and issue resolution
💡 Required Skills
- Experience in SaaS product testing
- Automation tools: Selenium, Cypress, JUnit
- Manual testing tools: JIRA, TestRail
- Strong SQL knowledge (PostgreSQL)
- API testing experience
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
