Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a global leader in IT services and consulting, is seeking a highly skilled Associate for IT Security and Compliance based in Chennai. This position is ideal for candidates with a Bachelor of Technology, experienced in NIST, CoBIT, ISO 27001, and SOX testing.

Job Description:

The Associate – IT Security and Compliance will be instrumental in:

• Aligning with and conducting controls testing for security frameworks such as NIST, CoBIT, and ISO 27001.
• Performing SOX testing for IT controls.
• Executing IT compliance audits.
• Conducting vendor risk assessments.
• Documenting and updating Information Security Policies, Standards, Processes, and Procedures.
• Managing and performing cybersecurity assessments on both new and existing business initiatives and third-party services.
• Evaluating third-party products/services through detailed reviews of standardized questionnaires and controls.

Responsibilities:

• Test and align IT controls with security frameworks like NIST, CoBIT, and ISO 27001.
• Undertake SOX testing and comprehensive IT compliance audits.
• Evaluate and manage vendor risks effectively.
• Contribute to the development and revision of the company’s security documentation.
• Oversee cybersecurity assessments for ongoing and emerging business initiatives.
• Assess third-party products and services to ensure they meet TCS’s rigorous security standards.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in GRC (Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance).
• Strong knowledge of IT compliance and security frameworks.
• Experience in conducting SOX testing and IT compliance audits.
• Proven ability to document policies and procedures clearly.
• Capability to manage multiple projects and assessments simultaneously.

Desirable Skills:

• Certifications related to cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM).
• Experience in managing vendor risks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
