Exciting Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team. The ideal candidate is a driven and enthusiastic Engineer who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about ensuring the quality of our products. They excel at problem-solving, writing robust code, and are committed to delivering products that meet our customers’ needs.

As an SDET, the candidate will be responsible for developing and testing software, ensuring its testability, robustness, and performance in production. They should possess programming skills and be able to create automation testing tools and frameworks to support the manual testing process. Prior experience with coding and the ability to showcase their development skills are essential requirements for this role.

As a candidate for this role, you will be expected to:

1. Review and provide feedback on functional requirements for products
2. Develop new tests and tools for frontend and backend code
3. Setup and maintain reliable test environments and CI/CD pipelines
4. Verify the product’s scalability, reliability, consistency, and performance
5. Analyze complex distributed systems and collaborate with others to improve the quality of those systems
6. Review, debug, and provide feedback on code written by your team members
7. Understand E2E flows and create E2E test cases, unit tests, functional tests, integration tests, and/or end-to-end tests
8. Communicate test results and quality in a timely manner
9. Work closely with the R&D team to identify & analyze the problem and test the solution.
10. Acquire interpersonal abilities and teamwork (inside the Infra group and with external teams).
11. Collaborate with other cross-functional team members to support the operation and maintenance of products
12. Collaborate with team members to perform code quality checks earlier in the software development process

To be considered for this role, you should have:

1. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Electronics/Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
2. 2+ years’ experience of strong proficiency in functional and non-functional testing, including experience of code review/bug analysis, development of test tools, designing test cases and contribution to effective test planning.
3. Hands-on C#/Python scripting experience
4. Some experience with heavy automation testing, comfortable with FE and BE
5. Understanding of Cloud Computing is strongly preferred.
6. High level of interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively.
7. Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
