Job Responsibilities:

• Create and execute manual test cases based on software requirements and design specifications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
• Perform regression testing to validate software functionality and ensure no regression issues occur.
• Collaborate with software developers and product managers to understand requirements and resolve issues.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and strategy discussions.
• Conduct exploratory testing to identify potential areas of improvement and risk.
• Develop and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Communicate test results and progress to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing methodologies.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• 6 months to 2 years of experience in manual software testing.
• Strong knowledge of software testing concepts, methodologies, and techniques.
• Experience in creating and executing manual test cases and test scenarios.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Bugzilla).
• Good understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and testing phases.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

• Additional certifications in software testing or quality assurance are a plus.
• Prior experience with Medidata’s tools or products used in clinical trial data management.
