Job Description:

As an Automation Engineer at Testing Mavens, you will be a part of a dynamic team that thrives on solving complex testing challenges in a fast-paced environment. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and systems across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute automated test scripts using JavaScript and BDD frameworks.
• Implement Page Object Models (POM) to enhance test maintenance and reduce code duplication.
• Utilize WebDriverIO for executing browser-based tests (experience with WebDriverIO is a plus).
• Conduct REST API testing and develop automation scripts using tools like Postman.
• Manage version control using Git and set up CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile development processes and use project management tools such as Jira to track progress and issues.

Qualifications:

• 3-4 years of experience in automation testing.
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience with JavaScript.
• Strong experience with BDD frameworks and proficient in using Page Object Model.
• Hands-on experience in REST API testing; familiarity with Postman for API automation is highly desirable.
• Proficient in using Git and setting up CI/CD with GitHub Actions.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira.

Desirable Skills:

• Previous experience with WebDriverIO is a significant plus.
• Experience in the domains of Finance, EdTech, Fashion, or Pharmacy is advantageous.
