Position: Senior QA (Automation Testing)

Experience: 3-8 Years

Location: Bengaluru/Mangalore

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Possess at least 3 years of experience in test automation using Java and Selenium, including expertise in mobile app testing with Appium.
• Responsible for automating the testing process for both mobile applications (Android, iOS) and web applications.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive test automation strategy, including defining deliverables.
• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools like Appium and Selenium.
• Create clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

Desired Profile:

• Strong understanding of QA and testing principles, with proficiency in both automation and manual testing for mobile, web, and IoT platforms.
• Take on an individual contributor role, responsible for designing and implementing an automation framework from scratch.
• Manage automation scripts for new requirements or change requests.
• Identify areas for improvement in existing test processes and plans, and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for creating testing artifacts.
• Ensure test reporting and stakeholder management.
• Experience in testing APIs using tools such as Charles, Postman, and SOAP UI, and implementing API test automation.
• Solid knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with CI/CD using Jenkins.
• Proficiency in using tools like Xcode, Android Studio, and Intellij.
• Excellent communication skills for client interactions.

Good to Have:

• Familiarity with the Cypress tool.
• Knowledge of JavaScript.
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
• Knowledge or experience with multi-automation tools such as TOSCA, Test Complete, UiPath, AccelQ, and UFT will be advantageous.
