Responsibilities:
As a Software Engineer QA, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the overall assurance of product quality by employing the best practices in automation and manual testing processes. You will be an integral part of a dynamic and passionate team, taking ownership of the software’s quality developed by the team.
To continuously enhance productivity, you will apply a range of agile project planning and delivery methodologies, staying at the forefront of testing advancements. Your specific responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring comprehensive test coverage for the applications.
- Writing meticulous functional test cases for new enhancements.
- Leveraging your expertise in manual software testing and indirect domain knowledge to identify potential issues.
- Collaborating closely with software developers, product owners, and quality assurance analysts to address and resolve reported software issues efficiently.
- Identifying and automating test cases to enhance automation coverage and efficiency.
- Executing both automation and manual test cases and maintaining thorough records of test outcomes.
Educational Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A Professional degree (B.E/B.Tech) in Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 0-2 years of hands-on experience in software testing.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively, fostering a team-oriented environment.
