Responsibilities:

As a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Applying principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring, and Testing Techniques.
• Providing mentorship to junior engineers and guidance in quality engineering, test planning, testing methodology for software projects.
• Demonstrating the ability to understand, debug, contribute to the codebase, diagnose bugs, and formulate solutions for betterment of product quality.
• Developing and executing maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with a minimum of 8+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in writing Java code for testing purposes (e.g., white-box testing).
• Experience testing web services (SOAP/REST; Throughput, Performance under Load, etc.).
• Extensive experience in test automation and working in Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
• Familiarity with issue-tracking and agile project management systems such as Jira, GreenHopper, Confluence, Rally, etc.

Desirable Skills:

While not mandatory, the following skills would be advantageous:

• Experience with digital solutions in the energy industry.
• Familiarity with digital monitoring and control technologies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
