About the Thomson Reuters job
- Provides input for the planning, integration, covering, scripting, and prosecution of all testing needed of a single software change or a small module/ element. (Note – AQA provides input for planning and estimates)
- Reviews business conditions and designs specifications for less complex changes systems for absoluteness and testability.
- Develops test scripts for robotization whereas AQA’s aren’t anticipated to develop the scripts.( Note- AQA provides input into test plans.)
- Conducts testing using company-specific, homemade or automated processes.
- Executes test scripts cases and communicates the results of testing with guidance if needed.
- Tests modules of medium software products or lower stand- alone software products to insure proper operation and freedom from blights.
- Conducts root cause analysis and correlation of other system and/ or problems of low complexity
- Workshop on lower, minimally complex systems issues that bear a singular area of moxie generally workshop as a member of a single QA or Process platoon.
- Workshop on systems changes of minimum to medium complexity. Reports progress on problem resolution to operation.
- Performs work inflow analysis and recommends quality advancements. Experience in writing robotization scripts using Python, mailman, JavaScript is essential.
