Role Overview
As an SDET-I (QA), you will design and maintain scalable automation frameworks while ensuring product quality across UI, API, and database layers. This role demands strong automation expertise, analytical skills, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain UI automation frameworks using Playwright with Python
- Automate web and mobile web applications (responsive & localization testing)
- Perform API testing and automation using Python (requests, pytest) and Postman
- Conduct database validation using SQL
- Execute functional, exploratory, and regression testing
- Create test plans, log defects, and track resolutions
- Perform root cause analysis on failures
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams for test coverage
- Share QA best practices within the team
Required Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in SDET or QA automation role
- Hands-on expertise in Playwright + Python
- API automation experience using requests and pytest
- Proficiency in Postman
- Knowledge of automation fundamentals (locators, waits, assertions)
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Experience with Git
- Strong debugging, analytical, and communication skills
