Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Analyst to ensure high software quality through comprehensive manual and automation testing practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, designing test strategies, managing defect lifecycles, and mentoring junior QA team members within an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze client requirements and collaborate to define user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Prepare test plans, testing strategies, and detailed test cases.
- Conduct risk assessment and mitigation planning for testing activities.
- Manage test environment setup and test data preparation.
- Perform web and mobile application testing.
- Execute test cases in development, staging, and production environments.
- Coordinate performance and load testing activities.
- Perform sanity testing after bug fixes.
- Handle complete defect lifecycle management (log, track, retest, close).
- Conduct root cause analysis for defects.
- Collaborate with developers for defect triage and resolution.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with Business Analysts or clients.
- Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives (Agile methodology).
- Mentor junior testers and assist in performance feedback and reviews.
- Ensure timely delivery of QA milestones and test closure reports.
