💼 Role Description
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring product quality across the full development lifecycle. You will design and implement automated test strategies, contribute to security testing initiatives, and maintain regression coverage within Azure CI/CD pipelines for both API and UI applications.
You will collaborate closely with development teams, participate in Agile ceremonies, and ensure compliance with regulated quality standards.
🔎 Key Responsibilities
- Interpret functional specifications and create detailed test plans.
- Define acceptance criteria for functional and non-functional requirements.
- Design and implement scripts and data for integration and system tests.
- Build and deploy automation for unit, integration, and regression testing within Azure CI/CD pipelines.
- Maintain and enhance regression test suites.
- Organize and manage UAT activities and defect reporting.
- Facilitate internal security testing processes.
- Participate in root cause analysis and bug resolution.
- Provide QA input in technical discussions and Agile ceremonies.
- Ensure test coverage aligns with regulatory and enterprise standards.
- Take ownership of all quality aspects of the product.
🎯 Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (2:1 or above) in Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or related field.
- ISTQB® Certified Tester – Foundation Level (Agile extension preferred).
- One or more vendor and/or cloud certifications.
- 10+ years of experience in Agile software development teams.
- 5+ years hands-on experience with Azure cloud services.
- 5+ years experience with RESTful APIs, C#, and .NET framework.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, and SonarQube.
- Experience working in enterprise-scale environments.
- Strong technical understanding of digital identities and enterprise security.
- Ability to work independently and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Logical thinking, strong numeracy skills, and analytical mindset.
- Basic understanding of relational databases and object-oriented programming.
