🔹 About the Role
As a System Tester, you will ensure the quality and reliability of applications through structured manual testing and automation practices. You will work extensively with data ingestion, transformation (ETL/ELT), and data validation processes within large-scale cloud environments.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Work effectively within Agile processes and modern testing methodologies
- Develop and execute detailed test plans for data ingestion, transformation, and consumption workflows
- Validate data consistency, completeness, and accuracy across data layers (source to data warehouse/data lake)
- Build and maintain automation frameworks using Python/Typescript
- Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing for complex data pipelines
- Perform API testing for data onboarding, sharing, and access services
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS
- Use SQL and Python scripting for data validation and automation
- Utilize automation frameworks, performance testing, and data quality tools
🔹 Candidate Profile
Qualifications
- Engineering Degree (B.E / B.Tech / MCA / M.Tech / M.Sc) with strong academic record
- 3–7 years of relevant experience
Technical Expertise
- Experience with cloud-based data repositories (AWS S3, Snowflake, Databricks)
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and Data Warehousing concepts
- Knowledge of Data Lake architecture and Data Governance principles
- Experience in data quality assurance and test automation
- Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as Pytest or Playwright
- Strong SQL knowledge for data validation
