Job Overview
As an Automation Engineer, you will be part of a global enterprise technology team building scalable, high-quality enterprise applications. You will work with modern technology stacks and follow industry best coding and automation practices.
You will collaborate within a full-stack agile team consisting of Architects, Tech Leads, Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, Developers, QA Automation Engineers, and DevOps professionals. Reporting to the Team Manager, you will also have accelerated growth opportunities toward Dev Lead, Tech Lead, Architecture, or managerial career paths.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable iOS UI automation frameworks using XCUITest and XCTest
- Design and maintain web automation frameworks using Cypress
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable automation scripts
- Collaborate closely with iOS and web developers to ensure early defect detection
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions)
- Execute regression, smoke, and end-to-end test suites across devices, OS versions, and browsers
- Analyze test results, identify flaky tests, and improve execution stability
- Participate in sprint ceremonies, test design discussions, and code reviews
- Ensure proper reporting of quality metrics and test results to stakeholders
Must-Have Skills
- Strong expertise in iOS UI automation (XCUITest, XCTest)
- Hands-on experience in Cypress for web automation
- Automation scripting experience using Swift and/or Objective-C
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript
- Solid understanding of iOS lifecycle, UI elements, gestures, and accessibility identifiers
- Experience integrating automation with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions
- Strong foundation in OOP, design patterns, and test automation principles
- Experience in API testing and validation
- Familiarity with GitHub (version control)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills for distributed team collaboration
Good to Have
- Knowledge of SwiftUI testing strategies
- Experience in performance and stability testing for iOS apps
- Exposure to BDD/TDD practices
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Smart device integration testing (BLE or hardware-dependent apps)
- Experience with Qase test management tool
- Exposure to Aiden (AI-assisted QA tooling)
