🎯 Role Overview
As a QA Automation Engineer, you will own and evolve automated and manual testing strategies across web applications and APIs. You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Delivery teams to embed quality into every stage of development.
This role emphasizes automation strategy, regression confidence, performance validation, and strong defect management practices.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
✅ Quality Strategy & Automation
- Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for Web UI and APIs
- Work with tools such as Selenium, Postman, REST Assured, JMeter (or equivalents)
- Support regression, performance, stress, and load testing strategies
- Improve automation frameworks and introduce new tools where needed
✅ Manual Testing & Test Design
- Perform manual testing based on project scope
- Develop detailed test plans and test cases aligned with requirements
- Conduct peer reviews to ensure coverage and quality
✅ Agile Collaboration
- Participate in requirement, design, and defect review sessions
- Provide early feedback on testability and risk during planning
- Partner with Engineering and Product to enhance release processes
✅ Defect Management & Reporting
- Analyze test results and identify root causes
- Track, report, and communicate quality metrics
- Provide clear release readiness updates
✅ Systems & Database Testing
- Test SQL-based databases and system integrations
- Write and troubleshoot SQL queries
- Coordinate testing environments and timelines
💡 Required Skills
🔹 QA & Automation Experience
- 6+ years in QA Automation (strong manual + automation foundation)
- Experience testing web applications and APIs
- Exposure to unit, regression, performance, stress, and load testing
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
🔹 Technical Skills
- Experience with .NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, JSON
- 3+ years of database testing experience (SQL)
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills

🕒 Hours of Collaboration
You must be available during US collaboration hours:
