Role Purpose
The Test Engineer L3 will be responsible for preparing test cases, executing comprehensive testing cycles, and ensuring that deployed solutions meet 100% quality assurance standards. The role emphasizes strong automation capabilities, structured test planning, and SLA-driven delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Design
- Understand business and technical requirements to design effective test cases
- Author detailed test plans aligned with project scope and acceptance criteria
- Implement Wipro’s Model-Based Testing approach for efficient test generation
- Define test scope, parameters, entry/exit criteria, and UAT involvement
Automation & Execution
- Automate test lifecycle processes using VB macros, GUI automation, and scheduling tools
- Design and execute automation frameworks with proper reporting mechanisms
- Develop automated test cases, scenarios, and usage flows
- Set up and manage test environments for software validation
Defect Management & Reporting
- Raise high-quality defect reports with clear replication steps
- Track defects and ensure resolution within SLA timelines
- Publish test status dashboards and execution reports for stakeholders
- Maintain accurate updates in TMS, eCube, and related tracking systems
Customer & SLA Management
- Ensure timely response to client queries and maintain professional communication
- Deliver WSRs, test execution reports, and dashboards on schedule
- Maintain high CSAT scores and avoid SLA deviations
- Provide usability and serviceability feedback linked to quality risks
Performance Parameters
- 100% SLA compliance
- Error-free testing with minimal rework
- Automation coverage using VB/macros
- On-time test execution and reporting
- Efficient query resolution within defined TAT
