Key Responsibilities
- Design and build test automation frameworks and automated test suites.
- Collaborate with cross-functional sprint teams to support automated test-driven development.
- Develop and maintain automation processes and standards for consistent, high-quality results.
- Participate in manual testing, defect tracking, verification, and validation activities.
- Support continuous integration and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Execute tests using defined scripts and log defects with detailed reproduction steps.
- Create comprehensive test files to validate system logic and workflows.
- Identify and implement improvements to QA strategies and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- Less than 2 years of experience in software development testing.
- Familiarity with testing and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Understanding of automation fundamentals and QA best practices.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Cloud certification (strongly preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with performance engineering and profiling (Java JVM, Databases).
- Hands-on experience with tools like JMeter and LoadRunner.
- Exposure to application monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk.
- Experience integrating automation with CI tools like Jenkins and coverage tools like Sonar.
- Proficiency in Java and Spring development.
- Experience in TDD/BDD environments using JUnit, Rest Assured, Appium, JBehave/Cucumber, REST/SOAP APIs.
- Understanding of Continuous Delivery tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo.
- Familiarity with security and vulnerability tools like Sonar, Checkmarx, or Fortify.
