Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Test Engineer – IT (Mobile Applications) to support the quality assurance of the Engineering CRM web platform and its mobile app integrations. In this role, you will execute manual test cases, identify and track defects, assist in automation efforts, and contribute to stable, high-quality releases.
You will work closely with developers, senior QA engineers, UI/UX teams, and PMO stakeholders to ensure seamless user experiences and improved test coverage across web and mobile modules.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manual Testing Execution
- Execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration test cases.
- Validate web modules and workflows that integrate with mobile applications.
- Verify business flows, UI consistency, usability, and backend data accuracy.
- Log and track defects with clear reproduction steps, screenshots, and severity levels.
2. Requirement Analysis & Test Case Design
- Review requirement documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Create structured test cases, scenarios, and checklists.
- Participate in requirement discussions with BA/PMO teams to clarify feature expectations.
3. Automation Support (Basic Level)
- Assist in executing and maintaining automation scripts developed by senior QA engineers.
- Update test data and identify unstable automation scripts.
- Support troubleshooting of minor automation issues.
- Gradually enhance automation coverage with guidance and training.
4. UAT & Release Coordination
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate fixes.
- Perform pre-release validation and production smoke testing.
- Maintain execution reports and release validation documentation.
5. Documentation & Collaboration
- Maintain detailed test documentation and defect reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies and Agile activities.
Qualifications & Experience
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Work Experience:
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in manual testing of web or mobile applications.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies preferred.
- Experience in CRM or internal enterprise applications is a plus.
