Role Overview

As an Automation Engineer (SDET), you will collaborate closely with engineering and release teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. You will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing frameworks, validating builds, and integrating automated QA processes into CI/CD pipelines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work directly with engineering teams to analyze features and create detailed test cases
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites
  • Qualify builds and ensure release readiness
  • Integrate automation into build, release, and distribution pipelines
  • Improve quality, efficiency, and time-to-release processes
  • Implement integration, performance, stress, and vulnerability testing within CI/CD workflows

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience collaborating with globally distributed teams
  • Expertise in test case design and automation development
  • Hands-on experience integrating QA automation into CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure
  • Programming skills in Java and Groovy
  • Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit and TestNG

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with artifact management tools such as JFrog Artifactory or Sonatype Nexus
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
