Role Purpose
The Manual Tester – Health Solutions will be responsible for creating and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test scripts, ensuring traceability between requirements and test cases, documenting results, and supporting business users during testing activities.
The role also involves defect identification, tracking, and collaboration with development teams to ensure successful software releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the Premia system and related integration systems
- Review and analyze functional requirements and specifications
- Develop and maintain test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts
- Design and document test plans, including scope, resources, and risks
- Prepare and manage test data required for execution
- Execute test cases and validate application functionality
- Identify, analyze, and report software defects
- Track and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues
- Provide training and support to operations teams for applications and services
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
- Experience in Manual Testing and API Testing
- Hands-on experience with Postman
- Ability to work with databases using SQL
- Knowledge of Premia and integration systems
- Understanding of Quality Management Processes
- Experience in test preparation and execution
- Strong knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and defect management
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office
- Previous experience in the Short-Term Insurance domain will be an advantage
