Job Summary
The SDET Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that all applications under test meet organizational quality standards and end-user requirements. The role involves automation framework development, manual testing, defect analysis, and continuous improvement of testing processes.
You will work closely with developers, business teams, and QA analysts to design test strategies, execute test cases, and ensure successful delivery of applications with minimal defects.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automation frameworks
- Design and execute automation scripts alongside development cycles
- Perform manual testing and automation testing to ensure product quality
- Increase and maintain automation test coverage
- Conduct functional testing, API testing, and regression testing
- Share QA status reports and test results with stakeholders
- Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams for project deliverables
- Conduct online, batch, and data verification testing after data migration
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on requirements
- Document test results and create detailed defect reports
- Track and follow defects until resolution and closure
- Work with stakeholders and developers to improve test efficiency and reliability
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–7 years of experience in software testing
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in test automation frameworks
- Strong coding skills in Java or JavaScript
- Strong understanding of manual testing concepts
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI
- Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, Rest-Assured, and JMeter
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Experience using source code management tools like Git or GitLab
- Experience with test and defect management tools such as Rally or qTest
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Payment Card domain or banking systems
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with JIRA or ALM
- Knowledge of Maven build tools
- Understanding of API testing best practices
- Knowledge of payment card industry compliance and security standards
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field
- Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- ISTQB Certification (or pursuing) is considered an advantage
