Role Overview
As an SDET-1, you will be responsible for testing customer solutions built on the Zinier platform. The role involves creating test plans, identifying defects, validating system functionality, and collaborating with development teams to ensure high product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Review quality specifications and technical design documents to provide feedback.
- Create detailed test plans and test cases for product features.
- Plan and coordinate quality testing activities.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and bugs.
- Perform regression testing after issues are resolved.
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify system requirements.
- Track QA metrics such as defect density and open defect counts.
- Stay updated with new testing tools and strategies.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience testing Android, iOS, and web applications.
- Experience with API automation testing.
- Ability to write clear and structured test plans and test cases.
- Understanding of white box and black box testing techniques.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, UFT, or Ranorex.
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum development environments.
- Knowledge of SQL for database testing.
