Job Description
The Test Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure software products meet high quality standards and align with end-user requirements. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, build test frameworks, and analyze results for continuous quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks across applications.
- Implement test automation strategies to improve coverage and efficiency.
- Act as the first line of debugging support for development teams and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and proactive problem-solving in assigned tasks.
- Participate actively in Agile sprint planning, design discussions, and execution phases.
- Contribute to in-house R&D initiatives and improvement of testing methodologies.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 2–4 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance / Software Testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Java, Python, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with automation testing tools and frameworks.
Mandatory Skills
- Automation testing using Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Appium, Cucumber, or Pytest
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
- Ability to identify, isolate, and resolve defects efficiently
- Creative mindset with a willingness to challenge norms and improve product quality
